I can't really say I'm sorry to see 2011 go, considering it totally sucked ass, but I'm hesitant to be excited for 2012. I mean, my 2011 started off on a totally amazing note, with good friends and good wine and good times. And then, well, let's see.

Illness + Emergency Room Quarantine = FML
Unemployment for MONTHS = Homicidal Destructive Rage
My father's cancer metastasized to his bones and lymph system, and they started him on chemo so he might live to see his next birthday.
Well when I list it like that it seems like less than much. Perspective. It is good.
Unless you really wanted to feel sorry for yourself. Dammit.
